Emmanuel Baptist Church
Emmanuel Baptist Church would love for you to join us in our beautiful sanctuary for our worship service at 10:45 am on Sundays.
Why should you consider fellowshipping with us? Well, that depends on what you’re looking for. If you are looking for temporary fun or an escape from reality, church won’t help.
Your worship of God is not a distraction from reality—worship is the ultimate truth, because God is. He simply is. He exists. He is powerful. He is just. He is good. We exist because He exists. But we worship him because we are all sinners, and in his justice, He punished our sins. We worship him because, in His love, He forgave us of our sins. But how can He do both? The answer is the cross. On the cross, Jesus paid for our crime. One the cross, Jesus gives us His righteousness. Through the cross, God can forgive our sins.
This is why we worship. We worship the all-powerful, eternal, just, holy, and good God. We worship him because he gave us a Savior—his Son Jesus! We love to worship together because we love our Good Savior! We talk about the Scriptures because the Bible is His communication to us.Will you come and worship with us?
We offer one Sunday morning service in our beautiful sanctuary—Sundays. We recommend arriving about ten minutes before the service begins to allow time for parking. Please be sure to sign in our guest register. An usher will ask you to complete a guest card when you enter the vestibule (lobby). If you feel comfortable doing so, you can introduce yourself to the congregation during the point in worship service when we thank our guests for visiting.
At EBC you can feel free to dress as casual or as formal as you like and we encourage you to come as you are, but we do ask you to dress with the respect and reverence that is deserving of the Lord's house.
Our worship music offers you a variety of traditional spiritual hymns, gospel, contemporary worship music that allow you the opportunity to have a meaningful and deeper praise and worship experience with Jesus. Worship music in our worship service is intended to prompt living a life of worship throughout the week.
