Who We Are

What Do We Teach?

We use both the Old Testament and the Gospels as the foundation for our faith and the inspiration for our daily lives. We put those teachings into practice at home and at work.

Best Way to Get Connected?

Ministries!  Here at EBC, we place high value on biblical community in our ministries for all ages. We believe that God’s grace is best in an authentic and loving community that happens in ministries. Ministries have many different looks: men, women, adults, students—they are varied in their meeting times and dates, but we always have something going on that may interest you and your family.

What if I have questions about God, or it has been a long time since I’ve attended church?

We encourage you to attend Sunday school or bible study. Sunday school is intended to teach us about the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is for  people who are curious about God, Jesus, the Bible, or Christianity, as well as those who have just begun a relationship with Jesus. It is a conversational environment where people can explore faith and experience community.

Shine in the love of God's grace, every day.

Emmanuel is a church of imperfect believers in Christ.  It's as simple fact, but it's a fact that reminds us who we are and why we serve.  We are a church - not a gathering of lone individuals.  And we are a church of faith - not one based on social status, economics, race, gender, or age.  We come together because of our common grace-centered lives, hope of salvation, and followers of Jesus Christ.

Who Is Our Pastor?

In January 2006, Pastor Morgan joined Emmanuel Baptist Church as its 6th pastor. Emmanuel has flourished spiritually, economically, and socially under Pastor Morgan’s leadership.  The LORD has tremendously blessed us to experience numerous building renovation, and new and revived ministries. We host annual community festivals to clothe and feed our community and neighbors, while providing medical care, school supplies, and various social assistance.  Pastor Morgan visits the sick and shut-in members; serves bereaved families near and far (including non-members); counsels privately; and he personally greets members and guests each Sunday.
